In 1991, Kimaid Cleaning Inc. opened as a house cleaning service in the Georgetown area. Kim Clark owns and runs Kimaid. This made Kim’s dream come true to run her own business and be her own boss. From the start, her plan was to customize her service for each client so that each home would be cleaned thoroughly and correctly.
Before starting Kimaid, Kim worked at the Hudson’s Bay Company and Hickeson-Langs Food Supplier in retail and wholesale. Kim was in charge of the jewellery, watches, and lingerie departments at The Bay, where she learned to pay close attention to details and make sure that she and her staff did their jobs right. No detail was too small or unimportant, whether it was putting the finishing touches on display cases, finishing the department’s paperwork, or adding a personal touch, like changing the watch battery for a customer.

Today, Kimaid offers cleaning services for both homes and businesses. We have 15 employees now and continue to grow.
